Just found this site by chance and would like to add a few words on behalf of my family. I first met Jimmy or Lugsy as I knew him in 1982 when my mam and brothers Sean and MArk moved inot Farnham road. Jimmy was always such a great lad and would always have a smile and a joke even though most of the time he couldnt remember my name and called me Sean's Kid bro lol. Spent many a happy day at Percy main club playing Pool and snooker with Jimmy when i was in between high school and 6th form. Later in life I used to see him in KIng street club and we always remembered the early days when nothing was more important in life than a game of snooker or putting our 5p lucky 15 on at the bookies in Percy main that was really just a portakabin. Jimmy you are greatly missed by your family and friends and the day god took you he got one hell of an angel RIP Jason, Sean and the rest of the Hume family

I wish i could turn back the clocks back to us growing up playing on the fish quay sands , but then again i'd never have heard you say " Hi Kidda " and what you's or "WE" having for tea ! i had a few good old nites at the pineapple with jimmy in the weeks before he died, in which i learned alot about jimmy and his life experiences, jimmy was a good laff, a good man, and someone who i could never forget. i couldnt make the funeral as i had a knee op the day before, and was gutted. r.i.p jimmy, you will be sadly missed, i'l never forget your smile (and good crack!). love kelly. xxx

Jimmy, I had some of the best days of my life playing snooker at Percy Main club with you and the lads. We even got to the doubles final one year :-). We all miss you bud, hope heaven has a 24-hour bookies and a late license at the bar!
