Jimmy grew up on Waterville Road, North Shields with his mother Alice and father Jimmy along with his brother Thomas (Tucker) and sisters Alice, Barbara, Hilda, Susan, Samantha and Isobel. Jimmy attended Medowell Primary School which followed onto Norham High School. In 1982 Jimmy met his former wife Gillian and they married in 1985. Jimmy then became the proud father of Sarah Jane in may 1986. In 2005 Jimmy became a Grandad to his eldest Grandson Dean James Darren Rendles. In 2009 Jimmy received one birthday gift he would never forget wen his second Grandson Clayton Paul O'Connell was born that day. He worked for North Tyneside Council as a courier driver until 2002 when he became a taxi driver for Central taxis he then moved on to Associated Taxis in 2009 sadly Jimmy passed away at home 9/2/2010.
